E46 business cd + dension gw 300: geen text

Heren / Dames van het e46 forum.

Ik heb het volgende probleem, mijn dension gateway 300 speelt prima, echter kan ik de text modus met geen mogelijkheid activeren.
Ik heb de volgende 2 methodes zoals dension die aangeeft reeds geprobeerd, maar het mocht niet baten:

Click on this GW_CFG_START_TEXT_SELECTOR.BIN file and download the configuration file to your PC and then copy it to the root of a USB flash drive and rename it to GW_CFG.BIN. Connect your USB flash drive to the Gateway 300. The file will be automatically recognized by the Gateway device while it is powered on and the output device selection procedure will start. Select the CD# on the head unit which is displayed on the device (car radio display, navigation screen, ...) where you want to get text displayed. If no text displayed and wait about one minute when the procedure will be terminated and the Gateway will return to the normal operation. It is not necessary to disconnect iPod or stop playback. Configuration file will be deleted by the Gateway after its execution.

2:

1. Disconnect all devices from the Gateway
2. Switch on the radio, select CDC and wait a few seconds. On the radio display you will see CD5/Track99 (Aux_in selected as source)
3. Press & Hold the Fast Forward button for 10 seconds, then release. The display turns to Disc1, indicating that you have entered Text selector mode. Track1 indicates Text_Disabled, while the other track numbers represent text capabilities
4. Select Track 2 by pressing the Next track button. If you cannot select Track 2 and it reverts back to Track 1, the vehicle does not support text display with the Gateway. If you are able to select Track 2 the display will show Aux as default. This means your car supports the text selector featur
Some vehicles support more than one display/screen. The following instructions allow you to choose where Song information (text) is displayed:
5. To move the text between the displays, press the Next track button
6. When you have moved the text to the position you prefer, press Fast Forward (FF) to confirm. Or, by pressing the Rewind (REW) button you can exit Text selector without making any changes
If you wish to de-select the Text selector feature, complete steps 1 to 3 and select Track 1.

Kan iemand me vertellen hoe dit wel kan / werkt?
De laatste firmware versie heb ik ook proberen te upgraden, echter doet mijn dension niks met het bestand wat ik op m'n usb stick heb staan.

Ik zit als eerste te denken ondersteund de Dension jouw BMW radio wel? Of heb je Navigatie?

Ik heb dit bij mijn vorige auto ook gehad. Helaas in 1,5 jaar tijd geen oplossing kunnen vinden.

De manier die in de handleiding staat werkt inderdaad helemaal niet. Ik heb het tot 2x toe wel voor elkaar gekregen, maar eigenlijk met meer geluk dan wijsheid. Kwestie van een beetje op knoppen drukken...
