recommend service point

Hello,
First of all - sorry for writting in English, but I still don't know Dutch...

I have a 320TD (E46-compact) and I just did my oil service in the official BMW service. They informed me that I have to change my front & rear brakes soon, and gave me a price of almost 1000eu for everything...
This sounds a bit too much to me, that is why I wanted to know if you guys can recommend me some other service point where I can trust the people and change my brakes

Depends on where you're living.
So in which vicinity are you looking to go to a service point?

You could also do it yourself if you are handy. It's not that hard.

Im in Rotterdam - Zevvenkamp.
For the DIY part... I dont want to risk it with the brakes ^^

I do most of the service myself. A good friend of mine works in a garage and has all tools available. Also my parents have a garage, where I can do smaller stuff (oil changes, brake replacement, etc).
